In the Mostviertel region, spring is welcomed at Easter with the "Osterratschn". And the "Goldknüpfi", a yeast croissant, is served with the traditional Easter ham. The idyllic secluded location with its large garden and spacious terraces is the perfect hiding place for Easter nests. The first crocuses, snowdrops and primroses are gently poking through. Relax and unwind on your terrace on a sunny spring day.

The original translation for "Ötscher" is "father of the mountains". Up to a third of Austria can be seen from the summit. The striking Ötscher is the easternmost high mountain massif in the Alps and a landmark of the Mostviertel region. Spring, summer & fall
Have you ever bathed in a waterfall? Here are the most beautiful wild swimming spots in Austria. The crystal-clear waters of the Erlaufsee and Lunzer See lakes - both with bathing beaches - are just a few minutes away . The "Ötscher-Lodge" was awarded the "Magnum Award" as an "Ecofriendly Resort" and built in such a way that it is pleasantly cool even during heat waves.
Silence. Silence. Quiet. Sleeping with the window open? Gladly. Fall asleep, sleep through the night, sleep in. Recharge your batteries.
Winter
The Ötscher is one of the most snow-sure ski areas in Austria. And the snow and skiing fun starts right in front of the Ötscher Lodge. That's why the FIS Snowboard World Cup stops here every year. Tobogganing, snowshoeing, alpine skiing (lift access) & Nordic skiing (cross-country ski trail at the lodge) are just a small selection of the possibilities. Or on a sunny winter's day you can relax on a deckchair on our terraces.
