House rules

Dear vacationers!

The Ötscher-Lodge should be a second home to you. You should feel comfortable and be able to relax. We have put a lot of effort into the furnishings and hope that you will find everything you need. The following house rules are intended to help you enjoy a harmonious stay and are also a binding part of our general terms and conditions.

Below we have listed some rules which we hope you will understand. By treating the lodge properly, you will help us to continue to offer you and other guests satisfactory facilities in the future.

General

If you are missing anything in the facility or if you need help, please contact us with confidence. All items in or belonging to the lodge or on the balcony or terrace may and should be used by guests. Please treat the entire furnishings and inventory with care and treat the rental property with care. Please ensure that your fellow travelers also comply with the rental conditions.

Payment & deposit by credit card

You confirm your booking at the Ötscher Lodge by paying a deposit of 40% of the room price.

Please have a valid credit card with you on arrival when you hand over the keys. valid credit card at hand. The stay must be paid in advance. The Ötscher-Lodge is equipped to a very high standard. To protect us against any damage, your credit card will be reserved for the duration of your stay with a one-off deposit of € 500, which will be released after your departure, inventory and final cleaning.

Laundry & cleaning

Your accommodation unit is equipped with fresh bed linen and the necessary bath/shower and hand towels. The apartment will be handed over to you clean. For stays of up to one week there is no change of linen. Should you require additional linen or cleaning during your stay, you can request this from the property management for a fee.

If you make a mishap (extreme dirt, liquids on the floor or work surfaces, etc.), we ask you to clean it up immediately. We ask you to leave the apartment swept clean on departure and to put all used dishes back in the cupboards. Always charge the vacuum cleaner and empty the dust container after use.

A final cleaning fee of € 40.00 is payable for each apartment. (on arrival)

Nature & Environment

The Ötscher as the "father of the mountains" (original derivation of the word) feeds the region's energy budget with hydropower. That is why we only use electrical energy sources. Please support us in preserving the unique natural heritage of our region. Please use water and electricity resources sparingly. Avoid noise and dirt around the house and help us to separate waste.


Cancellation of services

1. Reservations made by the contractual partner are binding for both contractual partners. If the contractual partner cancels a reservation, the contractual partner must pay the following compensation.

a) No compensation if the written cancellation is received by LTH Mountailodge GmbH up to 14 days before the start of the service period.
b) Compensation amounting to 50% of the value of the service ordered if the written cancellation is received by LTH Mountailodge GmbH 13 days before the start of the service period.
c) Compensation amounting to80% of the value of the ordered service if the written cancellation is received by LTH Mountailodge GmbH 3 days before the start of the service period.
d) Compensation amounting to 90% of the value of the ordered services if the written cancellation is received by LTH Mountailodge GmbH less than 3 days before the start of the service period.

Open fireplace, whirlpool and infrared cabin

Several residential units have special equipment. The use of open fireplaces and infrared cabins is only possible after an introductory and safety talk with the property management. No bath additives, fragrances, soaps or similar may be used in whirlpools.

Kitchen

All residential units have a high-quality branded kitchen "Made in Germany". Please treat the kitchen equipment and technical appliances with care. As nobody likes a dirty kitchen, please only put dishes, pots and cutlery in the cupboards when they are clean and dry. Please do not place hot pots and other hot objects on the tables or worktop without a trivet. Always use a chopping board as a base when cutting. Please leave the interior of the oven and microwave in a clean condition.

Damage

Nobody damages things on purpose, but it can happen to anyone that once

something is broken. We would be pleased if you could inform us of the damage so that we do not only discover it after your departure during the final cleaning. Tenants are liable for damages to the amount of the replacement costs - the deposit may be retained.

Duty of care

We ask our guests to treat the rental property with care and to ensure that fellow travelers and relatives also comply with the rental conditions. The entrance door should always be closed and locked with a key when leaving the house. All windows must also be closed when leaving the apartment in order to avoid possible damage caused by bad weather or burglary.

Ventilate

To prevent mold growth, we ask you to ventilate the rooms sufficiently, at least once a day for 5-10 minutes and especially after showering.

Waste disposal

Waste is separated into residual waste, glass, paper, etc.. Appropriate containers are available on the property. Please only use garbage cans and cosmetic bins in the bathroom with garbage bags and dispose of them sealed in the residual waste garbage can. No waste, leftover food, harmful liquids or similar may be thrown or poured into the kitchen sink, toilets, washbasins or showers! Avoid anything that could lead to blockages in the pipes (no hygiene articles in the toilet).

Rest periods

In the interests of good neighborliness, we ask you to observe the public rest periods such as midday, night and Sunday rest. Out of consideration, quiet should also be maintained in the lodge itself between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m.

Internet/WLAN/TV

A wireless internet connection (WLAN) is available in the Ötscher-Lodge. Access codes and passwords are on the back of each apartment's router. The use of the Internet with your own WLAN-enabled device (notebook, PDA, smartphone, etc.) via the WLAN connection is free of charge for the tenant. You use the Internet at your own risk, the landlord excludes any liability in connection with the tenant's use of the Internet. For the use of Internet access via WLAN, the WLAN usage rules must also be observed.

The available TV channels are pre-programmed on the respective devices. Please do not change the order or search for other programs. Reinstallations are time-consuming and must be invoiced separately and/or offset against the deposit.

Smoker

Smoking is not permitted in the apartments. Please leave the indoor area of the lodge when smoking. Smoking indoors is not permitted without exception and will result in the deposit being retained and additional final cleaning costs may be incurred. If you smoke on the terraces, please use the ashtrays provided. Please dispose of the completely cooled cigarette remains in the waste garbage can.

Parking facilities

You can park directly in front of the Ötscher-Lodge, other public parking spaces are located in the immediate vicinity. Charging facilities for e-cars can be found at the adjacent parking lot of the mountain railroads. If a parking space is made available to you, this does not constitute a safekeeping contract. The landlord is not liable for loss of or damage to vehicles parked or maneuvered on the property and their contents, except in cases of intent or gross negligence.

Domestic authority

In the event of immediately necessary repairs or for the purpose of checking and / or replacing technical equipment, furniture, installations, reading meter readings, etc., it may be essential for the landlord to enter the vacation apartment without the guest's knowledge.

key

Please never give the keys out of your hand. Any loss of keys must be reported immediately and the guest is liable up to the amount of the replacement costs.

Arrival and departure

Arrival is by arrangement. On the day of departure we ask our guests to leave the vacation apartment/house by latest 10:00 a.m. at the latest. On your departure, the vacation apartment/holiday home should look as you found it.

Liability

The landlord is not liable for valuables belonging to the guest(s).

Pets

Pets are allowed. There is a charge of € 15 per day and pet.

By booking the vacation apartment, the house rules are binding.
